About Nicole

Hi!  I’m Nicole Marques.  I’m a mother, a wife, a holistic healer, and an Independent Insurance Advisor.  I didn’t seek out a career in insurance; insurance found me. 

After a successful career in retail banking, an illness I’ve lived with since I was a teenager came in the way of my ability to continue to work.  My family suddenly went from a dual income household to my husband having to be the sole income earner for a few years while I recovered.  I wish I’d had insurance to protect us through the years we struggled, but unfortunately it wasn’t something we had even considered. 

Sadly, my story isn’t unique.  Every day a family loses a loved one and unfortunately 90% of Canadians with dependents are underinsured or have no insurance at all. 

I work with my clients to ensure that they’re protected during the hardest times in life and I work with my clients to protect you, your family, or your business from suffering financially while you’re struggling with health concerns or worse, the loss of a loved one or a key person in your business.

Now that I am in good health and able to work, I want to ensure that others do not have to go through the difficulties that arise as a result of unexpected illness or death.
